What I Do

Modern Holistic Psychiatry means not subscribing to only one approach or framework. But, a few things tie together everything I offer. The values of space and time-- longer sessions, space for you to reflect and surprise yourself, time for me to get to know you and work with you in a deeper way; and the value of respect for your autonomy and unique path in life.

Holistic Psychiatry

Psychiatry with an ear, a heart, and a soul. This is care that considers your whole life—not just symptoms. We’ll look at your physical health, emotional history, and lifestyle context to create a personalised, thoughtful treatment plan. If medication is part of the picture, it’s discussed with care and used intelligently.

Integrative Psychiatry

Combining medical insight with mindfulness, trauma-informed therapy, and somatic understanding, integrative psychiatry weaves together different levels of care. Whether it’s supplements, lifestyle shifts, or prescription adjustments, we’ll co-create a plan that honours your lived experience.

Holistic Psychotherapy

An approach that sees your emotional life within the context of your whole self—body, mind, history, identity, relationships, and environment. Sessions may include talk therapy, mindfulness, somatic work, and exploration of deeper patterns.

Integrative Psychotherapy

Flexibility in style and approach, pulling in from various techniques as the situation calls for throughout the course of our therapy. Your priority is feeling like your care can pivot around your needs as they develop, and not be locked into only one thing/ method.

Somatic Exploration

Somatic exploration means exploring and transforming your past and present through your body sensations. This can be done without a particular goal or event in mind.

Trauma Processing Through Somatic Work

Trauma doesn’t only live in memory, it lives in the body. This work helps you connect to what’s happening physically and emotionally, without necessarily needing to know or tell the full story. Especially supportive for those who feel stuck in talk therapy and/ or who can’t easily access verbal memory.

Somatic Work for Trauma

Using body-based approaches to process trauma gently and gradually. Whether or not you remember specific events, this work can support grounding, regulation, and the gradual release of what’s been held inside.

Psychotherapy (Psychoanalytical)

For those wishing to speak freely, without censorship or a sense that they have to fit the therapist's frame. Using free association and deep listening, we explore unconscious patterns, early relationships, and the stories that continue to shape your life.

Psychotherapy (Feminist)

Centred around your autonomy, voice, and agency. This work honours how gender, identity, culture, and power affect your emotional life. A space for collaboration—not hierarchy.

Psychotherapy (Relational)

Therapy isn’t just about talking; it’s also about what happens in the space between us. This approach uses the therapeutic relationship itself as a lens to explore and repair patterns that show up in your life.

Psychotherapy (DBT)

If you’re seeking more structure to work with your emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness, this approach may be for you. May include practical strategies and in-between-session tools.

Psychotherapy (CBT)

For those wanting more structure and concrete tools. This work focuses on how thoughts, emotions, and behaviours interact—and how shifting them can improve mood and daily functioning.
