Mental Health Support for Creatives

For many creative professionals, work isn’t just a job, it’s personal. Whether you’re writing, designing, producing, performing, or problem-solving, the pressure to deliver something original, relevant, or resonant can take a toll. You might be navigating burnout, imposter syndrome, creative blocks, or the quiet loneliness that can come with roles that demand constant output. It’s easy to feel like you need to keep creating, even when you're running on empty.

At Modern Holistic Psychiatry, I work with people whose minds are always making. People balancing deadlines with self-doubt, visibility with vulnerability, and productivity with personal meaning. This is a space where you don’t need to be on, where you don’t have to perform insight or progress. We begin with what’s real, and what’s true for you right now.

A Space to Reconnect with Yourself and Your Work

Many of the creatives I work with come in feeling overstretched, stuck, or disconnected from the reasons they began. Our work can be a place to process the emotional weight of your work life, perfectionism, rejection, collaboration challenges, or the push to stay relevant. You don’t need to choose between being creative and being well.

My approach is trauma-informed and holistic, shaped by years of working with queer, neurodiverse, and sensitive individuals. The care we build will respond to your needs, not ask you to fit into a predetermined idea of what therapy should look like. We might draw from talk therapy, somatic practices, mindfulness, or medication when appropriate. This is support that moves with you, and where you want to go.
