Mental Health Support for Processing Life Abroad

Moving to a new country can shift everything, your rhythms, relationships, identity, and sense of home. Even with preparation, the experience of relocation can bring up unexpected emotions. You might be learning new systems, rebuilding a community, or carrying a quiet sense of disconnection, even when things look fine on the surface.

At Modern Holistic Psychiatry, I offer support that makes space for the full emotional reality of living abroad. Whether you're an expat, immigrant, or somewhere in between, this is a place to explore what’s changed and what still feels unsettled, without needing to flatten or simplify your experience.

A Space for Reflection, Belonging, and Integration

I’ve lived in countries with cultures very different from my own, and I understand how these transitions can feel layered and deeply personal. You might be feeling a shift in identity, isolation from your community, or a quiet sense of disconnection, even when things look fine on the surface.

We’ll shape our work together based on what feels most supportive to you—whether that’s through dialogue, somatic awareness, or quiet space to process what’s unfolding. The goal is not to fix your experience but to support you in moving through it with more clarity and steadiness.
