With GAD, worry can feel constant and exhausting. Our work is about untangling that anxiety at its roots, using tools like CBT, somatic therapy, and nervous system support to create more ease.

Mental Health Support for Generalized Anxiety

Persistent worry has a way of settling in. You might find your thoughts looping, your body tense, or your mind racing even when things seem objectively fine. Sometimes it feels like you’re always bracing for something, or trying to stay one step ahead of what might go wrong. Over time, this kind of chronic anxiety can be exhausting, disorienting, and hard to explain to others.

At Modern Holistic Psychiatry, I work with individuals living with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) in ways that go beyond managing symptoms. Together, we can explore the roots of your anxiety, how it shows up in your body and mind, and what support actually helps, without pressure to feel a certain way or rush toward calm.

A Space to Understand and Soften Longstanding Patterns

Anxiety often isn’t random. It can be shaped by past experiences, early relational dynamics, nervous system sensitivity, or high-functioning coping strategies that eventually start to fray. I bring a trauma-informed lens to this work, alongside psychotherapeutic tools, somatic approaches, and medication support when useful.

Some people come in needing language for what they’ve been feeling. Others already know the patterns, but want to loosen their grip. Our sessions are collaborative and paced with care, designed to support both understanding and regulation, so that you can move through life with more steadiness, and less fear.
